Established in 2001, Waste Reduction & Recycling (WRR) offers comprehensive waste management & educational services to the campus of NC State University.
Who We Are
By providing the following services in-house, WRR is able to provide data-driven impactful procedures, strategies, and programs to achieve our waste diversion goal of 70%:
Waste Management
- Own & operate a fleet of vehicles to collect waste, recycling, compost, construction, & other materials generated on campus
- Maintain over 200 outdoor waste-convenience sites
- Provide specialized support for staff & departments
- Offer onsite response teams to exceed customer needs
Equipment Services
- Our CDL & Certified Operators support University departments and maintenance groups
- Provide 24-hour, 365 days on-call emergency assistance
- Lead inclement response for campus
- Operate specialized equipment providing cost & time efficiencies
